Selmer Paris Mark VI Alto Sax - S#: 135436
Player's Horn!
Sometimes the amount of wear on a horn tells you a lot about how it plays, this horn fits that category. Stripped of all lacquer, this horn has developed a BEAUTIFUL patina that modern horns just can't replicate, no matter how hard they try! This saxophone was relacquered at one point, but after being stripped, you'd have a really hard time telling!
Serial Number - 135436 - Long Bow - Less than 9,000 before David Sanborn's Alto - Circa 1966
Right in what many believe to be the sweetspot of MKVI altos, this horn fits the bill. With the simplified bell logo and just at the tail of the long bow era, this horn captures the magic of the time.
