Proficient trumpet players will really enjoy performing this edition of the iconic theme from Gioacchino Rossini’s final opera of the same name. Capturing all of the energetic vitality of the original orchestra setting, this adaptation can be performed without the opening Andante section by starting at the Allegro vivace; when that option is used, piano should not play the downbeat of measure 16.
