Guilmant, Alexandre (arr. Melicharek): Shepherds of the Mountains for Flute Choir

Guilmant succeeded Widor as organ teacher at the Conservatoire de Paris, and one of his students was Marcel Dupré. His standing among organists is unquestionable. As a composer, he wrote and arranged almost exclusively for his own instrument, and made frequent use of regional Christmas songs, carols, and noëls.
