Cesar Franck (1822-1890) was a Belgian composer and organist. The original arrangment for oboe and piano is attributed to Gillet and was taken from Franck's Cinq Pieces for Harmonium. This edition has been edited for clarinet and piano. Although the short solo has little technical demands, its lovely melody has been extremely popular. Duration: 2.5 minutes.
