Sarah Hardaker

sarahSarah  is in her 2nd year of coursework at Michigan State University working toward a Master of Music in Clarinet Performance. She is a past student of Dr. Elsa Verdehr, and is currently studying with Dr. Tasha Warren-Yehuda. Sarah studied with Dr. Kimberly Cole and Dr. Sandra Jackson at Eastern Michigan University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance. During high school, she was a student of Dr. Kathy Wood and Dr. Meghan Merciers, who is currently Professor of Clarinet at the University of Northern Alabama.

Sarah began her instrument repair apprenticeship in May 2015, and is specializing in all aspects of repair, maintenance and restoration of the clarinet family of instruments. While she had limited repair experience, Sarah has turned out to be an amazing technician., and shows great aptitude for the craft. Sarah is currently working part time at the shop until she graduates in the spring, when she plans to pursue the instrument repair on a full time basis. She is currently a member of the MSU Winds Symphony under the direction of Kevin Sedatole, and is a member of the Beaujardin Clarinet Trio.

Sarah is also a private clarinet instructor and currently has openings for new students.
